The Team

The Manager, Sustainability, Stakeholder Engagement and Environment assist with internal and external collaboration with key business functions, customers, employees, communities and other stakeholders. The Manager assists with stakeholder engagement, supply chain sustainability, and community investment initiatives. In addition, this role works cross-functionally with operations to implement strategies that drive resource efficiency, accurate data collection, and cost saving opportunities through standardized processes and shared best practices. As part of a global sustainability team, this role contributes to the development and execution of sustainability initiatives across multiple regions and markets. processes and shared best practices.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • 6+ years of related experience in sustainability or environmental matters required.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to balance attention to detail with strategic thinking.
  • Ability to interact confidently with all levels of management and demonstrate a strong executive presence with superior interpersonal and public speaking skills.
  • Strong organization, planning, and project management skills; ability to prioritize tasks and manage substantial workload in fast-paced environment.
  • Strong track record of building and maintaining solid relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Self-motivated; able to work both independently to complete tasks and respond to requests and with others to utilize their resources and knowledge to identify high quality solutions.
  • Exceptional ability to work as a team player and integrate with legal and non-legal personnel.
  • Strong knowledge of sustainability standards and frameworks.
  • Ability to interact with outside consultants effectively and independently.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.

What You Can Offer Us

  • Engage with external stakeholders, including customers, industry associations, and government entitieson sustainability-related topics and initiatives.
  • In partnership with internal functions, advise on and support community engagement initiatives that align with business and sustainability objectives.
  • In partnership with Public Affairs functions, assist with benchmarking and monitoring industry associations, regulatory developments, and government sustainability initiatives to help inform business decisions and sustainability priorities.
  • Support global supply chain with site audits, implementing standards, and enforcing the ATC Vendor Code of Conduct, including external training programs and compliance and monitoring.Manage complex sustainability projects across multiple markets, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and measurable outcomes.
  • Coordinate with external consultants, NGOs, and service providers that support sustainability programs and initiatives.
  • Support commercial discussions and negotiations and engage with policymakers on sustainability-related topics and initiatives.
  • Research and support energy efficiency initiatives, green materials, and innovative technologies that reduce operating costs and greenhouse gas emissions and increase resiliency.
