Summary - basic function of the role We have an exciting opportunity for a Global Pricing Leader to join our team in Madrid. This role follows a hybrid working model, with four days per week onsite and the flexibility to work from home on Fridays.

This is a newly established global role with the opportunity to build and embed a Pricing Excellence capability across Enerpac’s commercial organisation. You will lead our end-to-end pricing framework, covering strategy, governance, analytics, systems and capability development.

Working with commercial, finance, product and regional leaders, you will help ensure pricing decisions are informed by reliable data, applied consistently and aligned with our growth and margin goals. You will bring structure to a complex global environment while giving regional teams the tools and guidance needed to make effective commercial decisions.

Job Duties and Responsibilities* Develop and lead Enerpac’s global Pricing Excellence strategy, framework and roadmap.

  • Define pricing structures across product lines, channels, regions and customer segments.
  • Establish and lead a Global Pricing Council to strengthen alignment and accountability.
  • Introduce value-based and segment-based pricing approaches that support profitable growth.
  • Develop global pricing guardrails, floor pricing policies and discount authority levels.
  • Design and manage the global Delegation of Authority framework for pricing.
  • Build dashboards, KPIs and reporting that provide clear visibility of pricing performance.
  • Analyse price realization, pricing leakage, elasticity, product mix and channel performance.
  • Conduct price waterfall, competitive benchmarking and win/loss analysis to identify commercial opportunities.
  • Translate complex pricing data into clear recommendations for commercial and senior leadership teams.
  • Partner with Finance to connect pricing performance with business reviews, forecasting and planning.
  • Support Product Management with pricing and positioning for new product launches.
  • Embed pricing governance within global quote-to-order processes.
  • Assess and support the implementation of CPQ, pricing and analytics tools in partnership with IT and Sales Operations.
  • Establish clear standards for pricing data, reporting and system governance.
  • Develop practical training in pricing strategy, value selling and commercial negotiation.
  • Build a global pricing community that encourages collaboration and the sharing of best practices.
  • Support a shift from reactive discounting towards consistent, value-led pricing decisions.

Skills and Competencies* Strong knowledge of value-based pricing, segmentation, discount governance and price realization.

  • Advanced analytical skills and the ability to work with large, complex datasets.
  • Ability to apply techniques such as regression analysis and price elasticity modelling.
  • Strong commercial and financial understanding, including the ability to connect pricing actions to P&L performance.
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to make complex information easy to understand.
  • Confidence influencing senior stakeholders across functions, regions and business units.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to build trust with sales and commercial teams.
  • Strong judgement when balancing global consistency with regional and customer needs.
  • Experience leading change within a global, matrixed organisation.
  • A practical, delivery-focused approach to turning strategy into measurable outcomes.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI and Tableau.
  • Knowledge of CPQ platforms, CRM-based pricing and ERP systems.
  • An understanding of customer, competitor and market dynamics within a B2B environment.
  • Curiosity about emerging pricing technologies, including AI and machine learning applications.

Education and Experience* At least 10 years of progressive commercial experience, including five or more years in pricing leadership or Pricing Excellence.

  • Proven experience building or transforming a pricing capability within a global B2B industrial, manufacturing or similarly complex organisation.
  • Experience creating pricing frameworks, governance processes, analytical tools and performance measures.
  • Track record of delivering improved pricing discipline, price realization or margin performance.
  • Experience working across multiple products, customer segments, sales channels and regions.
  • Experience partnering with senior Commercial, Finance, Product and Technology stakeholders.
  • Practical experience using pricing analytics, CPQ, CRM or ERP tools.
  • A degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics or a related subject, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience within industrial tools, equipment, energy or a related sector would be beneficial. Exposure to distributor, dealer or OEM pricing models and AI-enabled pricing tools would also be valuable. An MBA or similar advanced qualification is welcomed but not essential.
