We’re looking for a Payroll Analyst that is responsible for the execution of the day-to-day payroll process. Deliver a highly accurate and timely payroll to our athletes. Partner with key stakeholders to develop and deliver a seamless end-to-end process that results in an excellent employee experience. Continuously look for ways of working that will eliminate manual work and result in stronger controls and efficiencies.
What You Will Work On
- Compile/reconcile data from a wide variety of sources (e.g. Workday, time sheets, tax deposits, etc.) for payroll processing
- Review/reconcile payroll input/output results using established practices and procedures
- Submit timely and accurate payroll and statutory obligations, such as tax and social security
- Ensure payroll outsourcing partners are maintaining service level agreements
- Record payroll metrics. Escalate issues and actively engage in continuous improvement
- Maintain supporting payroll documentations and authorizations for internal and external audits
- Responsible for general ledgers
- Provide Tier 2 support for employees and managers on payroll matter
- Responsible for year-end activities
- Ensure timely and accurate funding and disbursement of salaries
- Handle payments / invoice submission and other payroll related assignments
- Responsible for meeting the pre-determined payroll metrics and compliance requirements
- Provide support on payroll related projects and initiatives, as required
Who You Will Work With
- Partners: Labor/Tax Compliance, PS Cross-Functional Teams, Finance
- Compliance: Ensure payroll vendor is compliant with all regulatory payroll requirements
- Communications: Collaborate with payroll operational teams and cross-functional teams
What You Bring
- End-to-end payroll knowledge, including payroll inputs, calculations, statutory deductions, reconciliations, funding, reporting and post-payroll activities across multi-country payroll environments
- Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage payroll deadlines, competing priorities and sensitive employee data with accuracy and discretion
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining strong attention to detail, a customer-focused mindset and a high standard of results
- Ability to effectively communicate moderately complex topics to stakeholders
- Sophisticated research, analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
- Relevant experience in payroll within an HR shared services environment, with exposure to multi-country payrolls required. Experience with the Netherlands and France is a plus.
- Good understanding and knowledge of in-country payroll and statutory compliance
- Strong Excel skills, with the ability to manage, analyze and reconcile payroll data accurately
- Payroll accounting knowledge is highly desirable
- Hands-on experience with HR, time and payroll software/system, e.g. SAP, Workday, GlobalView, SDWorx
